1. What should I wear in the sauna?

Most guests wear swimwear, shorts, or light clothing they feel comfortable in. We recommend natural, breathable fabrics such as cotton, linen, or bamboo, as they allow your skin to breathe more easily in the heat.

Please avoid synthetic materials such as polyester, nylon, or spandex, as well as metal accessories or embellishments, as they can become very hot during your session.

Warma Sauna is currently a non-nude sauna due to being a public site.

2. What is the recommended hot and cold cycle?

A typical 60-minute session may include:

Shower: Wash and dry off before entering the sauna.

Heat: Spend 10–15 minutes in the sauna.

Cool: Step outside for 5 minutes to cool down using the cold shower or ice bath.

Repeat: Repeat the cycle 2–3 times, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout.

Always listen to your body and take breaks whenever needed.

3. How long should I stay in the sauna?

Most people stay in the sauna for around 10–20 minutes per session. If you are new to sauna use or sensitive to heat, start with 5–10 minutes and gradually build up over time.

If you feel dizzy, nauseous, or unwell at any point, leave the sauna immediately and cool down.

4. Can I bring a drink into the sauna?

Staying hydrated before and after your session is very important. Water will be available on site, and you are welcome to bring your own water bottle.

We recommend using a double-walled insulated stainless steel bottle with a heat-resistant outer sleeve to prevent the bottle from becoming too hot.

5. What facilities are available at warma sauna?

Warma features a bespoke converted horsebox mobile sauna, along with:

● Chill-out space for relaxing before, during, or after your session
● Storage boxes and hooks for personal belongings
● Water refill station

6. Are there health benefits to using a sauna?

Regular sauna use has been associated with a range of potential health benefits, including relaxation, improved circulation, muscle recovery, and stress reduction.

Some research also suggests that consistent sauna use may support cardiovascular health and overall wellbeing.

If you have any medical conditions — particularly heart conditions, low blood pressure, or are feeling unwell — please consult your doctor before using the sauna.

Sauna use is not recommended if you are pregnant, intoxicated, dehydrated, or have active skin infections or a fever.

7. Is there anything I should avoid before
or after a sauna session?

Before your session, avoid:

● Alcohol
● Heavy or spicy meals
● Excess caffeine

Please also remove metal jewellery and watches, as they can become extremely hot.

After your session, rehydrate well and allow your body time to cool down gradually.

8. Can I wear glasses or contact lenses?

We generally recommend removing glasses and contact lenses before entering the sauna, as high heat may damage frames, affect certain materials, or dry out your eyes.

9. How hot does the sauna get?

Saunas typically range between 65°C and 110°C. Warma Sauna is usually maintained between 75°C and 90°C, depending on the preferences of the session group.

10. Can I use the sauna if I’m pregnant or
have a medical condition?

If you are pregnant or have any medical conditions — especially high blood pressure, heart conditions, or respiratory concerns — please consult your doctor before using the sauna.

11. How should I prepare for a sauna session?

To get the most from your session:

● Shower before entering the sauna

● Remove lotions, oils, and makeup

● Bring a towel to sit on

● Bring a second towel for drying off afterward

12. Can I pour water on the sauna rocks?

Yes — but please be considerate of others sharing the sauna. Always ask first and avoid pouring excessive amounts of water onto the rocks.

As a general guide, use no more than half a scoop at a time.

13. Is it normal to feel dizzy or lightheaded
in the sauna?

Mild dizziness can sometimes happen, especially if you are new to sauna use or become overheated.

If you feel faint or unwell, leave the sauna immediately, cool down, and hydrate. Staff will be nearby, and there is a breakout area available for resting.

14. Can I bring my phone or electronics
into the sauna?

We do not recommend bringing phones or electronics into the sauna, as high temperatures may damage them.

It’s also a great opportunity to disconnect and fully relax.

15. Is there parking on site?

Yes — there is limited parking available on site.
